Genre: Americana, Bluegrass, Country In a career spanning more than 50 years, five-time Grammy winner, Country Music Hall of Famer, and AMA Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Marty Stuart has gone from backing Lester Flatt and Johnny Cash to becoming, in NPR's words, "the very image of country music." With his longtime band The Fabulous Superlatives — widely regarded as country's preeminent live act — Stuart now blasts into new territory with Space Junk, his first all-instrumental album: a cosmic cowboy trip of sun-kissed surf guitar, breezy California rhythms, and soul-stirring steel. Expect rhinestones, virtuosity, and a masterclass in American music.
