The Center for the Arts

*Bar Cashiers Only Needed* This program features master works by one of music’s most beloved composers, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, alongside music by his remarkable contemporary, Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges. Soloist John Wilson, pianist for the San Francisco Symphony and San Diego Symphony and principal keyboard for the Marin Symphony, performs Mozart’s radiant Piano Concerto no. 23. Praised for his electrifying virtuosity and stylistic insight, Wilson was lauded by the San Francisco Chronicle for his “casual virtuosity on piano.” The concerto blends luminous elegance with one of Mozart’s most introspective slow movements, creating an intimate, deeply human musical conversation.

Center for the Arts volunteers: Please remember to wear black or black and white clothes with closed-toe shoes. Please leave time to find street parking as our parking lot is for patrons only. If you're a new volunteer, please come 15 minutes early and ask for the House Manager so we can give you a quick orientation to your duties for the event. When you arrive at the Center (314 W. Main Street, Grass Valley) enter through the front lobby doors and check in at the volunteer table in the gallery.
